The mission of the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), while serving the public interest as its primary customer, shall perform all necessary contract audits for the Department of Defense (DoD) and provide accounting and financial advisory services regarding contracts and subcontracts to all DoD components responsible for procurement and contract administration. Audits can consist of pre-award, post-award and business system audits. This workshop will explore these different types of audits and provide insight as to what triggers and audit, what the agency is looking for, the kind of records you should be keeping and how the procedure typically unfolds.
Bring a lunch and join us for an up close look at the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and find out what the focus of their audit will be and how you can prepare should they ever come calling!
Networking and sign-ins will begin at 11:30 AM. The presentation will begin at 12:00 PM.
This is a FREE event and 1 CPE credit will be awarded to all interested guests!
This event is hosted in conjunction with the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) and UT Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)
