June 1-3, 2015
L.L. Bean's Outdoor Discovery School, Freeport
This fourth annual event benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine and The Rotary Club of Portland, Maine. We anticipate as many as 45 teams of five to participate in this three-day competition!
Each team will participate just ONE of the days for three hours. Sporting events include clay target shooting (with instruction), fly casting, GPS orienting and archery. No experience necessary.
Teams may either register on this site for $1,000, or commit to raising $1,500 using our fundraising pages.
On Wednesday, June 3rd, the Maine Outdoor Challenge concludes at a lobster bake and live auction at the AMVETS Hall in Yarmouth to recognize winning teams, award prizes and draw raffle and door prize winners. The bake is included for your team, or tickets may be purchased separately - don't miss it!
