League of Women Voters of Texas 2015 Lobby Days 

The 84th Texas Legislative Session has started & we are ready!

Join us on Feb. 23 & 24 for the League of Women Voters of Texas Lobby Days. Feb. 23, experts will speak on the LWV-TX 2015 legislative priorities -- voting rights, water, education and women's health. Feb. 24, we will review best practices for lobbying and visit with our legislators. See details below: 

When: Monday-Tuesday, February 23-24, 2015

Where: The Reagan Building (room TBA) on Monday, and at the Members' Lounge in the Capitol on Tuesday

Times: Monday, February 23: Registration from 12:00 – 12:30 pm in the Reagan Building (Room TBA). Welcome and speakers will be from 12:30pm – 5:00 pm

Tuesday, February 24: Presentation from 9:00 to 10:30 am in the Members’ Lounge, then lobbying as your time permits.

Cost: $10.00.  Please pre-register below!

A block of rooms is being held for League members planning to participate in LWV-TX Lobby Days Feb. 23-24 in Austin. The rooms are at La Quinta Inn Austin Capitol, located at 300 East 11th Street, within walking distance of the Capitol. 
The room rate is $139, plus tax, and the block of rooms will be available at this price through Sunday evening, Feb. 8, 2015.
