Target Audience
This course is intended for nurses and public health staff who are actively engaged in the identification, case management, and treatment of patients with or at risk for TB infection.

Format
The format for the training will include lecture presentation, with interactive discussions and case study.

Conference Goal
The goal of this training is to build capacity with public health and community health staff responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with or at risk for developing TB infection.

Conference Objectives
Upon course completion, participants will be able to describe tools used in testing for TB infection; discussguidelines for treatment of TB infection in an adult patient; discuss guidelines for treatment of TB infection in apediatric patient; identify potential barriers to completing treatment; discuss strategies to enhance completion of treatment; summarize the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with TB infection.
