Topic:  "The Future of Local Media" presented by Kip Cassino, Research Director with Strongpoint Marketing.

Local media has for decades and generations been the backbone of community communications.  Yet newspaper circulation is declining at an alarming rate, radio news is almost non-existent at some stations, and TV news is being dwarfed by network and cable coverage.  What does this mean  for the PR profession and the communications industry?  Kip will address these issues and their relation to the expansion of social media as a prelude to our March meeting with local news directors and editors.
