SEVEN Years of Girlfriend Getaways in Estes Park !

What wonderful memories will we create THIS year?

What a fun way to get to know each other even better! Great conversations in a beautiful location, paired with delicious dining and even some home cooking.

The Girlfriend Getaway is for active COWOI members only - sorry, no guests.

This year we've booked a beautiful luxury condo less than two miles from downtown Estes. Colorado Condos at Bobcat Ridge has a full kitchen and sleeps up to 10. Yes, we will be sharing beds, sleeping in bunk beds or on a couch foldout. (If you want a private room, there is only one, and it is an extra $20 so let me know ASAP that you want it!)

Traditionally our Girlfriend Getaways have been filled with all sorts of fun: lots of conversations, card & dice games (have you every played "Farkle?"), great food & wine, and lots of activities.

We arrive at our convenience on Friday and get settled in. We'll cook our own delicious meal Friday evening: we've enjoyed salmon, beef brisket, spaghetti or a curry dish, depending on who is coming. Some of us will cook Saturday breakfast - we've had scrambled eggs & bacon, quiche, ham & cheese coisants and nut breads. After breakfast, the day is up to you! We might split into small groups to go hiking, drive through Rocky Mountain National Park, visit the Stanley Hotel, enjoy a wine tasting, visit the downtown shops and art galleries, book a massage in town, or just hang out at the condo and read. We plan Saturday dinner at a nice restaurant (each person pays for her own meal & drinks), but the rest of the time is yours to enjoy Estes Park with your COWOI girllfriends!

The cost this year is $125 for the two-night lodging. IF we know RIGHT AWAY that more than 10 people are interested, we can book the condo across the parking lot which sleeps 8. And hey - I already paid the non-refundable deposit, so BE SERIOUS when you register 'cause there will be NO refunds!

We'll furnish the food for the meals we'll be cooking, but feel free to bring wine or your favorite snacks to share!

CAR POOLING is encouraged. There is a 2-car garage and parking for 4 vehicles next to the condo.
