Jack Donnell
Sabot Racing, A-C2
I grew up in Newport Beach, and I am excited to be starting my 13th summer at BCYC, my Second year officially coaching. I started the junior program at Bcyc at age 6, and moved my way through sabots where I then started sailing CFJ's. Once I was old enough I joined the CDM sailing team, and sailed on it for 5 years from 8th to 12th grade. After graduating High School, I decided to attend Montana State University, and I have been looking forward to getting back on the water all winter!
Ainsley Henderson
As a young teen I started sailing at BCYC in the CFJ program. I competed in the Shadden series and Junior Olympics for multiple summers. The summer after, I made the Varsity Sailing team at Corona del Mar Highschool. I spent 3 years on the Varsity team, competing in many regattas and National Championships. This will be my 5th summer coaching at BCYC, two as a volunteer and three as a Level One certified instructor. I will be coaching the C3 class this summer and am looking forward to assisting in the advancement of the Junior sailors.
Robert Bents began sailing in Newport Harbor strapped in his car seat on his family's Cal 40. When he got older he raced his Sabot and then moved on to lasers and CFJ's, just finishing his third year on the Mater Dei High School sailing team.
