Join Us for an Educational Dinner Program

Covering the Uninsured and Underinsured in Virginia: The Journey Ahead

You are invited to join us for an educational dinner for those that are interested in advocacy issues in the bleeding disorders community.

The speaker will be Jill Hanken, staff attorney at the Virginia Poverty Law Center, and leader of the Healthcare for All Virginians Coalition (HAV) (VHF is a member). She specializes in health issues, and creates and advocates for accessible and affordable quality healthcare for all Virginians.

This program will focus on:

  • The current state of healthcare coverage in Virginia
  • The impact of legislation passed in the 2015 General Assembly Session
  • Potential consequences of the impending Supreme Court ruling on federal subsidies to healthcare coverage in the exchange
  • Future for coverage in the next several years, including questions on who will be left behind

This dinner is open to the entire bleeding disorders community.
