Infrastructure and Growth: Are We Keeping Pace?” hosted by Montgomery County Councilmember Roger Berliner will be held on Saturday, March 7 at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School cafeteria (4301 East-West Highway, Bethesda, MD) from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The purpose of the event is to inform and engage county residents about current school and transportation planning policies and procedures, and offer the opportunity for them to meet with public officials and provide feedback about their communities.

Among the speakers will be Councilmember Roger Berliner, Planning Board Chair Casey Anderson, as well as community members and other county leaders involved in setting and implementing growth policies. Anderson will address how current master planning efforts reflect growth projections for the county over the next several decades.

Breakout sessions will allow participants to discuss creative ways of managing growth as it relates to schools and transportation.

Submit the questions you want asked by community moderators on the event registration online form (see the Register Now link below) . Ask about polices related to schools and transportation. To learn more about the March 7 event, go to: www.montgomerycountymd.gov/berliner
