Passover 2015
Hosted by Shalom's Senior Pastor, Mort Petrushansky

"Therefore let us keep the festival . . ."

"Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth" (1 Cor. 5:7-8).

Jews have been celebrating Passover for thousands of years to commemorate their Exodus from Egyptian bondage, but comparatively few people, whether Jews or Gentiles, are aware of the Christian symbolism built into the Passover Seder.

Shalom's 2015 Passover Seder will be held on Friday, April 3 (the first night of Passover)  at  The Nathaniel Center -- the same building in which we hold our Saturday services.  As always, there will be good food, good fellowship, and a chance to learn about and celebrate Christ in the Passover. We hope you can join us!  You can register, pay, and print your ticket out online.
