Swing Knitting in Petoskey - 2015 

Mango Moon is proud to offer "Swing Knitting in Petoskey, a 3-day retreat led by Swing Knits'  imaginative and energetic Brigitte Elliott. Come and play with color and texture, learn new techniques, and relax among friends new and old!

Brigitte will be bringing two brand new designs exclusively for Mango Moon and Dale! Whether you're experienced in swing knitting or brand new to the technique, we're confident you'll have a great time. Dale Garn's Hubro is perfect for the felted messenger bag and Mango Moon yarns are amazing in her mixed media infinity cowl! 

Again this year, we'll be savoring the tasteful comforts of Petoskey, Michigan's historic Stafford's Perry Hotel which overlooks Little Traverse Bay, as we knit, dine, learn from Brigitte, and enjoy each others' company.

REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:

• Three days of workshops (plus yarn shopping on Sunday and throughout the workshop)
• Four nights' lodging
• Arrival buffet on Sunday
• Four hot breakfasts (including the morning you depart)
• Three lunches in the Perry Hotel's Rose Dining Room
• Morning coffee and daily snack during class (to keep up your knitting strength)
• Back by popular demand, you can relieve a little stress with a chair massage from Sigrid, the Perry's in-house masseuse
• Enjoy a cooking demonstration with one of the Perry's exacting chef's during lunch on Wednesday
• Three amazing dinners - one each at three different Stafford restaurants. In the past the food has been fantastic, but we've challenged the chefs to "up their game" and we can't wait to see what's in store for us this year.

REGISTRATION:
Rates are available for single, double and triple occupancy, as well as for your "Non-Knitting Guest." All the rooms are beautiful, but Bay Side rooms are available for an additional charge.

At the time of registgration, pay only the deposit ($300/attendee, $200/non-knitting companion). You will receive an invoice for the balance. Payment in full is due by August 30.

The rate for non-knitting companions includes lodging and all meals. 

Free time is built into the agenda so that you can take advantage of shopping and the beach, all within walking distance of the hotel!

Planning on flying? The Pellston (PLN) Airport is just a short ride away. If you prefer, fly into Detroit Metro (DTW) - Petoskey is about a 4.5 hour drive.
