Outreach Interest Group - new members are always welcome!

During this meeting, members will discuss:

• Key components to conducting effective outreach
• Sharing ideas and experiences with social media as a means of outreach
• Using these ideas and experiences to develop a resource guide for staff
• Future Outreach Interest Group meetings

Interest groups offer NEFLIN members outstanding networking, informational, and problem solving opportunities.  They offer a chance to come together to discuss hot topics and provide a forum to let others know what is going on in the library where you work.

Interest Group Leader: David H. Fuller Jr., Alachua County Library District

 

David Fuller is the Outreach Services Department Manager at the Alachua County Library District in Gainesville, Florida.  He has worked in both academic and public libraries throughout his career.  His belief is that as technology and library users’ needs change, so must libraries to meet those needs.

 

This group will meet after the NEFLIN Expert Series!  The Technology and Marketing Ecosystem with Ben Bizzle will take place from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.  This event is free of charge for all Florida library staff, but registration is required. 

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only.  Registration is strongly encouraged.
