Eric Bradley, HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist, Member of Hearing Healthcare Providers of California and the International Hearing Society.

I am the owner of Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Centers in Roseville and Auburn California. I am compassionate for those individuals suffering from hearing loss. Growing up I witnessed the pain hearing problems caused my grandfather and father and I have personally struggled with hearing loss since I was a young child. As a former special education teacher, I saw children struggle in the classroom in the same way I had. I felt a calling to work in hearing health. I became licensed and certified to fit hearing devices in 2001.

In the last 14 years I have worked with thousands of people suffering from noise induced hearing loss. Noise induced hearing loss is one of the most common reasons people come to our clinics seeking help with their hearing. Our clinics help people with occupational risk to noise induced hearing loss in the capacity of hearing screenings, education, hearing protection, and corrective devices when necessary.

Course outline:

1. Brief Review of Anatomy of the Ear and Types of Hearing Loss
2. Noise Induced Hearing Loss
3. Effects of Noise Induced Hearing Loss
4. Tinnitus
5. Early Detection and Prevention of Noise Induced Hearing Loss
6. Questions and Answers
