Please join us for a reception with author, educator, and mental health advocate: Mary Ellen Copeland, PhD. Overlooking the historic scenery of Washington, DC, the reception will have a meet and greet, music, food, and beverage. Come watch the sunset with friends in wellness and support the Copeland Center.

Instruments of Healing

Instruments of Healing provides opportunities for consumers to collaborate together in the music making process.   Program elements include: education, instrumental experimentation, basic skill instruction, group collaboration, solo singing, and sing alongs. Together, through our unique form of musical peer support that has been recognized by SAMHSA, people improved their self-esteem and confidence, learned better social skills, collaborative skills, new instrumental skills, and listening skills, and most importantly – have found HOPE.  Come join us during the reception with Mary Ellen Copeland  for this exciting musical program, and see how music can become a wellness tool in your recovery.
