Program:
Ursula Currie is a Senior Associate at EHDD in San Francisco. She joined the firm in 1997 and has contributed a wide breadth of design, technical knowledge and management expertise to a variety of complex project types, including aquariums, zoos, labs and academic buildings.
 
She is the lead designer of the Toledo Aquarium renovation as well as the project manager of the design team for both the Toledo Aquarium and the Toledo Penguin exhibit which opened in 2014.
 
A native of Northern Ireland, Ursula was educated at Dundee University, and the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. She has practiced architecture in London and more recently San Francisco since 1990.  She is the author of  “16 Tales of Units 1 + 2”, an award winning Student Residence project at U.C. Berkeley, for which she was one of the project architects. Presently Ursula is the lead designer and project manager for a new 26,000 gsf addition at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California, which is scheduled to break ground in Spring 2016.

Due to the many upcoming events in anticipation of the aquarium opening, at the request of the zoo, we are not accepting any reservations after the deadline or walk-ins the day of the event.
