Join us at the Crowne Plaza Harrisburg-Hershey on May 7. Enjoy a delicious dinner, mingle with others in planning and related fields and hear from our keynote speaker, Barry J. Schoch, P.E.

Schoch is well known for his work at the helm of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, guiding efforts to bring much-needed transportation funding to Pennsylvania with the signing of Act 89 in November 2013.  The former Secretary of Transportation is still working in Harrisburg in his role as Special Advisor to Governor Tom Wolf.  Schoch has more than 30 years’ engineering experience including consulting, managing or key involvement in several transportation projects in the commonwealth.  He previously worked as McCormick, Taylor & Associates’ Vice President and manager for their Harrisburg office transportation department.

He also served as the president of the Pennsylvania Highway Information Association and as the chair of Pennsylvania Consulting Engineers Transportation Committee and the Design Professionals Coalition Transportation Committee. He has a degree in civil engineering from Penn State University and is a licensed professional engineer.

The dinner begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Harrisburg-Hershey, 23 S. Second Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101.  

Please park in the PRK-MOR surface lot at S. 3rd and Chestnut streets (accessed from Chestnut Street).  TCRPC will provide a voucher to cover the cost of parking in this lot only.  You will receive the voucher via email at least one week prior to the event.  This voucher is redeemable only in this lot -- please present it to the attendant.
