You are invited to participate in the Southeast Texas Youth Career Expo-"Connect to Your Future!"

Does your company have concerns regarding "skills shortages" and the lack of applicants in our talent pool?  This is your opportunity to educate our future workforce about career pathways and availability of good jobs with livable wages here in Southeast Texas!

We are soliciting businesses to exhibit their occupations with interactive, hands-on informative sessions to engage our "workforce of the future". There is no charge to participate, we only ask that you give your time by "educating" our students about your occupation. 

The event will be held at Ford Park on October 15th, 2015 from 8 AM to 3 PM.  High school students enrolled in Career and Technology classes from Hardin, Jefferson, and Orange counties are invited to attend.  We are expecting as many as 3000 students!

In addition to visiting the interactive demonstrations, students will attend an Interviewing and Orientation workshop to increase the student's Job Readiness Skills.
