We invite you to lay back on yoga mats and pillows and go inward for THE SOUND SOAK! Donning eye-masks that shut out the light, embark on an inner journey guided by live acoustic music featuring electric open tuned Zither, Monochord, Kalimba, Chimes, Ancient Wind Gongs, Voice, and much more. Soak in the sounds as they surround you and allow the healing frequencies to transport you on a wave of bliss! Then get ready to allow in joy and mirth as you are gently invited to participate in "Laughter Immersion" - fun an zaniness through your own vocal creativity!

This Month's Sound Soak Features:

LArAAji NadaBrahmanada & Arji OceAnanda

        

During the mid 70's, following an inner sound vision "Laraaji" NadaBrahmananda (Edward Larry Gordon) set out to create a new musical sound  involving a modified 36 string AutoHarp, alternative tunings and innovative music Electronics. This new musical sound captured the heart and stimulated the imagination of a very appreciative and warm new age following. He has since traveled internationally sharing his musical sound vision in Solo and collaborative adventures.. many of which have been documented in classic quality recordings.  In the fall of 2013 several major retrospective releases of his materials were made available through WARP and All Saints records out of the UK.  A wonderful brief Vimeo documentary, entitled "Eternity or Bust"  compliments this resurgent enthusiasm for his work, and the continuing great contributions being made by this stellar visionary artist.

He has also developed over the past 25 years his signature style of Meditative Laughter Playshops' presented in the USA and abroad.  Laraaji serves as senior faculty presenter at the prestigious International Healing Sounds Intensive founded by pioneer sound healing musician Jonathan Goldman, held annually in Colorado, for most of its 19 years.

Arji "OceAnanda" Cakouros, is a Sound Healer, Musician, Usui Reiki Master, & Dreamwork Teacher with a private counseling/healing practice based in Niskayuna, NY.  Over the last seven years, she has enjoyed the deep joy and honour of collaborating with Blissmate Sw.Laraaji NadaBrahmananda in many venues worldwide, offering Healing Sound events and Laughter Immersion experiences, as well as a great variety of musical performances in conjunction with other artists. 

Arji has also served for the past seven years as faculty for both the prestigious international Sound Healers Intensive in Colorado, developed by internationally recognized Sound Healing Pioneer Jonathan Goldman (for which she and Laraaji recently released a highly acclaimed two Cd set entitled "Laughter & Consciousness"), as well as on the faculty for the Sacred Sounds Institute Intensive held annually at Olympic National Park, Washington state created by the multi-talented pioneer Sound Healer Vickie Dodd. 

           

Joule L'Adara (MFA), an opera singer who has sung at Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan Opera, is the founder of Sounding Circles LLC through which she joyously leads classes, workshops and retreats that empower people to discover and express their creativity through vocal sound healing practices using their own voices! She is the premiere Sound Healing Pracitioner of the New York Open Center (NYC's most distinguished Center of Holistic Learning) as well as practicing sound healing at Integral Yoga Institute New York's Wellness Spa and at The Green Spa, an award winning eco-spa in Brooklyn. She is a trainer for Feeltone Instruments (Germany), Harmonic Healing (Australia), she is an Acutonics practitioner, and she offers a world-wide online webinar series called "Raise Your Vibration!"
