Make a Mother's Day difference for a woman in need in our community!

We all experience times in our lives when we need a little more support. We hope you'll be a part of this fabulous evening as we join hands to brighten Mother's Day for women in our community coping with mental health issues or family hardship. We'll have a chance to unwind and socialize, learn about some of Brookline Community Mental Health Center's programs for women and families in need, and participate in a fun "philanthropy in action" project.

Each guest will assemble one Mother's Day care package for a woman in need served by the Brookline Center.

Baskets, ribbons, and decorations will be provided. Each participant is asked to bring a selection of (new) personal  and pampering items to fill a "Hand in Hand" care package. Have fun and get creative! Some suggestions to fill your basket: full size shampoo/conditioner; body lotion; hand/foot cream; nice soaps; essential oils; a gift card to a local store (CVS, Walgreen's, Target, Trader Joe's, TJ Maxx, Marshall's) or restaurant (Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, Panera); candles; teas; chocolates, mints, or candies; lip balm.

Light refreshments will be served.

REGISTRATION: $20 per person

Can't attend and want to underwrite a "Hand in Hand" care package? Donations of $30 to the Women's Fund can be made below.
