Restoring the Life in Our Lives

Our lives are naturally a series of hills and valleys.  Though the hills provide joy and celebration, the valleys can be trying times that drain us of life, leaving us feeling over-worked, under-appreciated and burned out.  In times like these, there is one small thing we can do for ourselves that restores and enriches our lives.  On April 28th, Fr. Matt Linn SJ, author of over twenty books, will spend a little time teaching a simple five-minute exercise called the Examen.  When practiced, it creates and increases life in us, heals deep wounds, builds loving relationships, finds God in all things, and resolves the problems of life that have been draining our life.  The Examen is practiced across faiths and disciplines, and has been taught in over sixty countries.  Fr. Matt's dynamic, interactive teachings on the Examen provide endless resources for the weary soul.  In one short evening, this practice can change the rest of your life.
