Charting the Life Course

Please join us for Day 2 of this exciting event!!

Registrants must attend the 21st to participate on the 22nd!

Description:

People with disabilities and their families have the right to live, work, play and pursue their life aspirations just as others do in their community.

This session is open to a small select group of individuals in leadership roles from our local community who also attended Day 1. We will review recommendations from participants and develop action steps, collaborate and build on efforts to support families.

About the Presenter:

Michelle "Sheli" Reynolds Ph.D, Sibling

Dr. Reynolds’ passion, knowledge, and experience come from growing up as a sibling of a brother with developmental disabilities. Her work focuses on the transformation of state systems, such as developmental disability, early childhood, and special health care needs to focus on person- and family-centered outcomes.

Target Audience

Leaders who are in a position to make decisions, such as self-advocates in leadership positions, parent leaders, Administrators and program managers of early intervention/learning, health care agencies, residential agencies, employment agencies, special education directors, educators, DDA case managers and supervisors, community leaders, state and county personnel.
