The Forum will help stakeholders in MA towns and cities understand: a) “Complete streets” and how it can help communities b) How to begin or how to take the next step in including (or expanding!) complete streets in urban, rural, and suburban communities c) What resources are (or will be) available to and how to access them.

Workshop Descriptions (choose 2 out of 3)
1. Effective Complete Streets Advocacy: This workshop will discuss building a constituency for this type of policy; engaging multiple levels of stakeholders; and talking points on complete streets. Specific examples from Massachusetts municipalities will be discussed.
2. Model Policy Approaches: This workshop will describe different policy approaches, the elements of a good policy and will provide examples from communities in Massachusetts that have recently enacted polices.
3. Best practices in implementation: This workshop will include various topics related to implementing Complete Streets including specific examples of infrastructure projects and ways Complete Streets principles are incorporated into multiple types of plans/policies.
