Session Description: Illustrate the importance of using a robust set of web-based tools to aid in the collection and communication of Program and Project related data across a geographically disperse project team. It will demonstrate how metrics and KPIs are qualitatively different, compare & contrast Program and Project level data, staff onboarding, maintaining quality and the change management process for 4,500 project locations, all within a two-year start-up window. Finally, it will demonstrate the latest trend in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Program & Project Information Management systems.
About the Speaker: Mark Thole is a Senior Associate at Gensler. Mark’s passion resides in working with people to get things done. Developing ERP and web applications for the past 19 years, he has deep experience in all facets of technology design, development, delivery, testing and support. Throughout his career at Gensler, Mark has played instrumental roles in Wisp and Program Services as the lead developer of Nissan, Infiniti, CSI, GM applications and most recently Profection™, a web-based Project Information Management solution. Mark is a natural project manager, facilitator, communicator and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). After 19 years of working with clients on and off site, Mark is excited to lead new programs and projects into the next decade.
Schedule of Events:
Menu List: Pastries, fresh cut-up fruit bowl, banana nut and lemon poppy seed sweet bread, assorted mini scones, assorted Minute Maid juice, assorted Pepsi products, coffee, decaf and tea. Milk is available upon request. Juices include Minute Maid apple, cranberry and orange.
Dress Code: The PMI La Crosse - Rochester Chapter does not have a policy for dress code and trusts its attendees to dress appropriately. Business casual dress is certainly acceptable attire at events and workshops.
