2015 Quintessence Summer Choral Festival 

Mark your calendars and plan to join Quintessence for our third annual Summer Choral Festival! 

On Sunday, July 26, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, we will perform Randall Thompson’s Frostiana and Alice Parker’s Melodious Accord with a professional orchestra, under the direction of Quintessence Artistic Director Matthew Greer.

PLEASE NOTE: As of May 27, 2015, we have reached our singer limit and have closed registration. If you would like to get on a registration waiting list, please email us at info@quintessence-abq.com.

Rehearsals begin Saturday, July 18.

Registration fee includes a copy of Randall Thompson’s Frostiana to keep and rental of Alice Parker’s Melodious Accord. It also includes a CD of the final performance.

INFORMATION FOR SINGERS

Any singer high school age or older.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF SINGERS?
We have a limit of 100 singers. 

FEES
The singer fee $40 per adult participant if you register through May 31. The cost includes a copy of Randall Thompson’s Frostiana to keep and rental of Alice Parker’s Melodious Accord. It also includes a CD of the final performance, and of course, the opportunity to make fantastic choral music with singers from all over New Mexico and a professional orchestra under the direction of Matthew Greer! 

The registration fee increases to $50 per person on June first, so sign up early!

The fee for all high school students and full-time college students will be $10.

Your fee must be paid by paypal, credit card, or by mailing us a check in order to save your spot. We are unable to refund your registration fee, and will consider your fee a donation to Quintessence if you are unable to sing with us.

SCORES
Registration fee includes a full copy of Frostiana, which will be yours to keep. The score for Melodious Accord will be rented, and you will receive a copy to use during the Festival rehearsals and performance. Scores will be available for pick-up in early July.

ATTENDANCE
Singers should miss no more than one of the six scheduled rehearsals. The rehearsal on Saturday July 25 is mandatory.

CONCERT DRESS
Simple black for women; dark pants, white long-sleeved shirt, long tie for men.
