About your trainer

Amanda Chaney

Amanda J Chaney, MSW is a social worker and therapist who specializes in individual therapy with women of all ages in her private practice located in Lone Tree.  She works with women on issues such as high stress, teen parenting, poverty, divorce, single parenting, domestic abuse, grief and loss, as well as depression and anxiety. Amanda received her Master of Social Work degree in 1999 from the University of Denver. She currently works for Mental Health America of Colorado, in support of their mission to improve access for mental health services for all Coloradans and reduce stigma related to mental health conditions.  She is a certified trainer for Mental Health First Aid for Adults and for Youth.  Amanda is passionate about education and advocacy for mental health care.
 

A Lifetime of Mental Wellness for Women 

Women often try to do it all! We can ignore our mental well-being as we strive to take care of others, have a meaningful work life and be the perfect woman. This class will help increase awareness and understanding of how women’s mental health is a vital component of overall wellness throughout our lives. Mental health is health.

This class is presented to our community by SMHA Member Amanda J Chaney, MSW.
