Environmental Photo Scavenger Hunt 

Bring a camera with picture viewer or smart phone, your detective skills, and all five senses to go on a self-guided environmental photo scavenger hunt on the Arboretum grounds.   Follow a list of clues and then use your camera to take a picture of your finds.  Learn about local plant and animal life and discover some of the Arboretum’s secret spots along the way. 

Scavenge at your own pace.  Give yourself at least 90 minutes or more between the hours of 10 AM to 1 PM to find each item.

Feel free to bring a picnic blanket and lunch to make a day of it.  Come early and shop at the Spring Plant Sale from 9am to 1pm.

This is an official Yakima Greenway Foundation Kiddin' Around event.

Children 12 & under must be accompanied by adult. Bring a camera with picture viewer or smart phone, hat, walking shoes and water bottle.
