Also called Business Continuity Planning (BCP), the Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) is the process of developing and practicing a logical plan for how a business or organization will recover and restore critical functions within a certain period of time after an emergency or extended disruption. 

In order to best prepare for this workshop we have a few things you should setup andd/or bring with you::

• A laptop ot tablet with wifi capability  (if possible)
• A Google account (sign up for Gmail - free email account) 
• Pen and paper

Suggested documents - (Your documents are for your eyes and your eyes only but will be needed for reference to your create continutity plan):  

• Bank Account Information
• Asset/stock Inventory List
• Insurance Documents
• Vendors List
• Employee Contact Information
• Staff Position (titles and responsibilities)
• Emergency Contact Information for all staff. 
• Property/Facility Information (property title, lease, landlord, etc), 
• Evacuation Plans

If you would rather not bring the hard copy of the documents, you can scan you documents and save on you device or flash drive, or you can dowmload Google drive and TinyScan (free apps) on tablet or phone and capture ypir documents as a PDF).
