The ConNext Summit is designed for Faith Formation and Youth Ministry leaders to share best practices, think more deeply about how we do this work in the 21st Century, network across denominations and hear from other inspiring leaders from around the state and country. The ConNext Summit is designed for leaders who have been engaged in this work for some time but new leaders will find a place to connect and grow as well.

EVENT KEYNOTER & FACILITATOR: DAVE CSINOS

DAVE CSINOS is founder and president of Faith Forward, an ecumenical organization that brings together children’s and youth ministry leaders for collaboration, inspiration, and resourcing toward innovative theology and practice. He is author of Children’s Ministry in the Way of Jesus (with Ivy Beckwith), Children’s Ministry that Fits, and editor of Faith Forward (with Melvin Bray). He is currently a doctoral candidate at Emmanuel College of Victoria University in the University of Toronto, where his research focuses on children, theology, and intercultural contexts. Dave has served in ministry with youth and children for most of his life, from volunteering at the local parish he grew up in to serving as a children’s pastor in southwestern Ontario. He frequently speaks throughout North America and beyond, helping leaders to re-imagine spiritual formation, children, youth, culture, and faith. He lives with his wife in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
