Sunday Creek Watershed Camp

Rural Action's Environmental Education program runs a week-long day camp twice each summer in partnership with the Sunday Creek Watershed Group.

Our Day Camp is a week of fun-filled adventure for children--exploring streams, engaging in service projects, learning about the environment through games and activities, visiting with area professionals, and eating freshly prepared local food!

Highlights of this year's camp include trips to the Hocking Hills, Wildcat Hollow, helping to clean up a
small stretch of Sunday Creek. Based on the campers’ feedback, we will also include favorite activities like catching macroinvertebrates (craw-dads and the like), hiking, swimming, and canoeing at Burr Oak, and wilderness survival skills. A detailed schedule and more need-to-know information will be sent out closer to the date of the camp.

June 8-12 : AGES 7-10       June 22-26 : AGES 11-14

**If you are trying to register more than one child for camp, you will have to fill out the registration page twice. If you have any problems with registration, please contact us!

Once you register, you will receive a waiver that you must sign and return to Rural Action before the start of the camp.

Rural Action is a membership-based non-profit in Southeastern Ohio. On the registration form, we have provided the opportunity to become a member of Rural Action for an additional $20. A membership with Rural Action helps us to continue our work with children, clean watersheds and illegal dumpsites, create access to quality local foods, and revitalize Appalachian Ohio!
