Computer security is getting more important with large breaches becoming increasingly common. Old techniques are becoming common again as external security becomes increasingly difficult to break through. Email phishing is one of the most common techniques for getting a foothold in an organization today. This talk will focus on email phishing techniques, and how to reduce the change that your organization doesn't get breached. Real world examples of spear phishing emails: the results of them will be presented and discussed. Tools and techniques for reducing email phishing and helping your employees recognize it will be demonstrated as well

Speaker Bio:
Adam is a computer science student and ethical hacker at Illinois State University. He is the current leader of ISUSec, a collegiate information security club. He has spoken at Thotcon about email phishing and at Derbycon about password cracking. he enjoys learing about social engineering, machine learning, and participating in conferences.
