This event is appropriate for medical and dental providers, safety net providers, state agencies, academics, policy makers, health administrators, social workers and anyone interested in comprehensive health care that includes oral health.

Thursday, November 12, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

VCU School of Dentistry is hosting a plenary session to begin to understand how unconscious bias works, where it shows up, and how to begin to point a path toward what we can do about it.  The plenary is free and open to all who are interested.  CE credit will be available for dental professionals.

Nurses: New York University Center for Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 4.75 Continuing Nursing Education contact hours will be awarded for this activity.

Social Workers: This program has been approved by the National Association of Social Workers - Virginia Chapter for 4.75 contact hours.
