The Writing's on the Wall!
Instructors: Jackie Murphy & Debb Solan
A fun new technique for you to try.
This unique plaque can be hung on a wall or placed on a stand on your desk. & the name badge can be just that or choose a word you love.
Our wonderful instructor Jackie Murphy came up with our project for this month. Once again we'll be showing you a simple technique to create something really stunning.
Jackie made the samples above and decided to make her house numbers. Perhaps you could use the word "welcome" if you already have house numbers you like! Or any other beautiful, inspiring or favorite word you like!
We know you love to choose your colors and this time we'll also need your word choice and how you would like the word oriented: ie: Portrait vs Landscape. In the samples Debbie's name badge is oriented Landscape and the House numbers Portrait.
Use your favorite color for the basic design and add embellishment using glass from our color bins, frits, powders and stringers.
We'll be using stencils created by Jackie on her Silhouette machine to make the lettering.
Please keep in mind the size of your glass when deciding on your word!
The Wall / desk Plaque is 3 x 9 inches
and the Name Badge is 1 x 3 inches
