Discover the Real Reason for Student Activities
The Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA) and the Florida Association of Student Councils (FASC) have joined to bring a pre-conference session to principals and advisors. This is a great opportunity to learn how to strengthen student activities and encourage students to stay engaged and enthusiastic about being in school. Be sure to register as a team.

Get to know our speakers:
Mike Smith has devoted his career to the promotion of positive attitudes and the fostering of personal responsibility in young people. His 28 years on the road as a speaker, trainer, author and philosopher have given him a unique perspective and a wealth of experience to enhance his message.
He is the president of DifferenceMakers, Limited - his speaking and motivational products company, and he has helped found numerous national organizations including the Alliance for Student Activities, a nonprofit association of student activity advisors. Please welcome “THE ORIGINAL" MIKE SMITH!
Bob Tryanski has been widely recognized as one of America’s top youth speakers and honored for his outstanding and innovative contributions to the development of leadership, service, and civic engagement in America’s youth. In 2009, the National Association of Secondary School Principals and the National Association of Workshop Directors honored Bob's achievements with the prestigious Earl Reum Award. The award, given to “an outstanding teacher of teachers”, recognizes outstanding leadership and commitment to the promotion of excellence in student activities.
Bob’s programs have been endorsed by organizations as diverse as United Way of America, The Martin Luther King Jr. National Youth Assembly, The National Association of Workshop Directors and The Congressional Youth Leadership Council. He has spoken at conferences and schools in forty-seven U.S. states and addressed audiences from Canada, France, Russia, Japan and South Africa.
