Help! My business needs a social and digital media intervention!

Whether you're a small-business owner or running a large corporation, you face a myriad of challenges. You know you need to ramp up your marketing to gain more customers, but you feel lost with the contstant digital challenges. So you find yourself adding *MARKETING!!! as No. 136,873 to your to-do list—even though you haven't the slightest clue where to begin.  This workshop will address both the beginner and intermediate business marketers challenges. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce.

7:30-8:00 Registration/Check In, Breakfast, Networking

*Morning (8:00-Noon) - Intermediate/Advanced Track:  Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn for business (Pre-Requisite: Business Pages for each).  Our schedule will allow for you to attend each of these classes.  

*Morning (8:00-Noon) - Beginner Track: If you are newer to social media and you need to get your business pages set up you can attend the special breakout classes dedicated to setting up your business pages for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn. 

*Note:  You may go between any/all of the above classes as your needs warrant.

Lunch (Noon-1:00) - Grow Your Business With Google Analytics and Adwords, Mansoor Anjarwala.  Basics on how to measure your website or app using Google Analytics. How to read the reports available in Google Analytics, get comfortable with analytics terminology, learn how to drive customers to your website or app via paid search (Google Adwords); understand the integration between Analytics and Adwords and what that means for your business; understand how to monitor and manage your customer's path to purchase (ecommerce). 

Afternoon Lab (1:00-3:00) - Put what you've learned in the morning into action in the afternoon! Continue to build (or enhance) your businesses' social media presence and strategy.  Presenters from the morning will be available for hands on help and learning.

Digital Marketing Wrap Up and Panel Q&A (3:00-4:00) - Kathy Hays will recap how to implement what you;ve learned, share some best practices, leaving time for Q&A, and networking.
