Panelists:

Nancy Bonniwell, Attorney, Weiss Berzowski Brady, is a partner in our Delafield and Milwaukee offices.  She is the managing partner of the firm’s Delafield office.  Her practice includes estate, business succession and marital property planning, estate administration and business law.  A graduate of the University Wisconsin – Madison (B.S., with honors, 1978), Ms. Bonniwell was a member of the North Dakota Law Review while in law school at the University of North Dakota (J.D., 1984). Nancy is a past President of Waukesha County Estate Planning Council.  She frequently speaks on the subjects of estate planning, business succession planning and charitable giving.  Nancy has been recognized for achievements in the law.  She received the Outstanding Advisor of the Year Award in 2014 from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and is included in the Best Lawyers in America. She serves as Chair of the Town of Delafield Board of Appeals and is a member of the Waukesha County Board of Adjustment. Nancy also is involved in several foundations: Tall Pines Conservancy and ProHealth Care Foundation.  She is active in Professional Dimensions and TEMPO Waukesha and is a member of the Planned Giving Council of Children’s Hospital and Health System as well as the Lake Country Charity Connection. 

Jay Frank, Financial Services Professional, Lake Country Wealth Management, has been helping individuals and businesses with their financial planning needs since 1986. He has taught extensively, presenting workshops on financial management for dozens of employer groups. Jay has served on the Board of Directors of the Society for Financial Services Professionals and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as the WI Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licenses.As of 4/20, Jay’s company name will change from Lake Country Wealth Management to Bronfman E. L. Rothschild

Penny Gutekunst, Vice President-Development, Zoological Society of Milwaukee joined the Zoological Society of Milwaukee (ZSM) as the Vice President of Development in May 2014.  Prior to the ZSM, Penny worked at the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) where she was Chief Development Officer for 2 1/2 years.  Before UPAF, she spent nearly 11 years at Children's Hospital Foundation as the Senior Development Director for Campaign Operations.  Penny has nearly 19 years of development experience and as VP of Development at ZSM, she is responsible for the direction and oversight of the ZSM's grants, corporate, individual and planned giving fundraising programs.

Tim Rippinger, Senior Associate Vice President-Development, Marquette University  For over 25 years, he has worked either directly with major donors or in managing those development professionals calling upon these donors.  Tim is a strong advocate of integrating the work of multiple professionals to enable donors to reach their philanthropic goals and for non-profits to maximize their performance.  At the University of Notre Dame and at Marquette University, he incorporated this concept of development as a “team sport” into the organizational culture.
