Sahar Nafal
   
 Sahar is the founder of The Bright Side of Life, an event series for women. Sahar is known to be a community building expert and speaker who has devoted her business to assisting women develop stronger, deeper, and more passionate communities. Sahar took business training classes at WISE and graduated in 2009. Since then she started Bright Side of Life and was named Women-Owned Business of the Year by Women’s Initiative for Self Employment and was featured in the Wall Street Journal.
  
Melissa Cohen
 
Melissa is the CEO of eatsaltysweet.com, a cookie company, which she had started after quitting her 10 year career in the finance industry.
Melissa's business took off after her boss started sending her cookies as gifts to clients, and after many years of perfecting her secret cookie recipe Melissa was finally ready to launch her own business.
Her products are now available for delivery throughout the Bay Area on Munchery, Good Eggs, Farmigo and her website. We are proud to present Melissa as a Renaissance graduate.
 
Jill Giordano
 
Jill is the owner and designer of grdano.com, a women’s clothing line and boutique, designed and made in Sausalito, CA. Crafted in San Francisco, grdano.com has garnered awards and attention from fashion industry groups, press, editors, and retailers throughout the U.S. for the impeccable structure and easy drape of its designs.

Prior to grdano.com, Jill had a career in Marketing and Advertising but changed gears to start her own fashion busienss, contributes to the fashion community by teaching at Academy of Art and City College of San Francisco for the past 10 years.
