She is also the president of Golden Lighting, a manufacturer of residential light fixtures selling to independent lighting retailers across North America. 

Yuh-Mei is actively involved in Tallahassee’s business community and has won both the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year (2007) and the Jim Moran Institute’s Entrepreneurial Excellence (2008) awards.
