A Focus on the Health and Wellness of
OUR Community

The National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) is honored to host the 6th Annual OUT on the Hill Black LGBT Leadership Summit (OOTH2015) in Washington, D.C. on September 16-20, 2015. OOTH2015 is a unique and important convening that brings together hundreds of the nation's leading Black LGBT activists, thought leaders, elected officials, faith leaders, elders and young adults to participate in an inspiring week of education, organizing and action planning.

This year’s conference theme, We Are Family: Building Stronger Roots Together, calls to action the Black family construct in addressing health and wellness issues through four key summit tracks: health care (e.g., physical, mental, emotional, behavioral); economics (e.g., financial health, economic justice, employment security, housing, livable wage, entrepreneurship); spirituality (e.g., faith, religion, wholeness, purpose); and social justice (e.g., criminal justice, education, racial profiling, voting rights).

OOTH2015 will provide plenary sessions, workshops, networking opportunities and other programmatic efforts to raise awareness and take action on issues impacting the Black LGBT community. OOTH2015 activities will include the opportunity to participate in the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference (CBCF-ALC). Join thousands of African American policy makers, key influencers, organizers and concerned citizens in our nation’s capital to advocate for an African American agenda inclusive of Black LGBT people.

EXTENDED: Take advantage of the early-bird registration rate of $100 per person until September 1. We are offering a 25% registration discount for emerging leaders (18-30) until September 1 as well. Elders (62 and over) can register at any time for a flat-rate of $100. If you would like to attend the CBCF-ALC events, you will be required to pay a separate registration fee of $50 per person for all age groups. Don't miss out on this powerful experience to network with some of the most dynamic leaders and activists from across the country!

It is time to OWN OUR POWER!
