This is a hands-on workshop with laptops and sample data provided, to introduce the useful and flexible QuickBooks accounting & bookkeeping application.
This training is offered by an instructor new to Renaissance who offers a curriculum different from what we've offered in the past with its bootcamp format.
Quickbooks Bootcamp is an 8 hour workshop, split into two sessions:
During the morning session, attendees will be walked through the steps of proper data entry
techniques. Attendees will practice creating invoices, receiving customer payments, and entering
vendor bills and credit card statements. Attendees will also learn how to balance a checkbook,
and to generate financial reports. The instructor will go over how to appropriately classify
expenses, and much more.
During the afternoon session, the instructor will guide attendees through hands on practices in
topics such as advanced customer setup and 1099 vendor setup, 1099 preparation, and the setup
and use of memorized transactions and other lists. The session will also focus on analyzing
financial reports, discussing prepaid expenses and the importance of bookkeeping data security.
Exercises include modifying and analyzing financial reports, balance sheets, income and
expense, and statement of cash flows reports. Topics will also include general journal entry,
1099 vendors, new QuickBooks users, new customers, 1099 vendor bills, and more.
*Note: While taking the Bookkeeping Bootcamp Workshop prior to this QuickBooks workshop is not required, it is highly recommended.
