The annual Convivium Mass & Dinner Auction was established in 1992 as Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's signature event in support of tomorrow's priests. The evening includes silent and oral auctions, a raffle, and an elegant dinner. The proceeds from this event support the seminary's annual operational budget, the Kenrick Student Life Associations, the Cardinal Glennon College Student Activity Fund, and the Holy Land Retreat and Pilgrimage Fund.

Schedule of the Evening:

  • 4:00 p.m. - Mass at the Old Cathedral (209 Walnut Street, St. Louis)
  • 5:30 p.m. - Reception and Silent Auction at The Four Seasons (999 N. 2nd Street, St. Louis)
  • 6:30 p.m. - Dinner and Oral Auction

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How do I reserve multiple seats or a table?

After you complete the basic information on the next page, select the quantity of Individual Seats you wish to purchase in the Reservations and Advertising Opportunities section. A table consists of 10 total seats and can be purchased by selecting Table of 10 in the Reservations and Advertising Opportunities section.

If you are reserving multiple seats or a table, please include the names and contact information (mailing and email addresses) for each guest in the Comments box. If you are unable to provide the names of your guests at this time, a representative from the seminary will contact you prior to the auction.

2. How can I reserve a table but have my guests pay individually?

If you are the host of the table, only register for the seats you are personally purchasing. In the Comments box, please indicate that you would like to request a table and provide the names of the expected attendees. When the attendees purchase their seats, instruct them to name you as their table host in the Comments box during online registration (or on their mailed reply form).

3. What is Express Pay?

Avoid the lines at the bank the night of the auction by using Express Pay. Your credit card information will be securely stored by the seminary and your auction purchases will be charged after the event. A receipt will be mailed to you following the auction. With Express Pay, your winning bid sheets will be marked "Express Pay" so you can bypass the cashier check-out line and simply pick up your items at the end of the night. You may register for Express Pay during the reservations process or when you arrive at the Four Seasons on the night of the auction.

4. What portion of my ticket is tax deductible?

The estimated value of each individual seat is $90.  The amount of your contribution deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the amount contributed over the estimated value of the goods and services you received.

Did you know that many companies with matching gift programs will match the tax-deductible portion of your reservation? This is an easy way to maximize your support of the seminary. If your company has a matching gift program, please consider requesting a matching gift on behalf of the seminary.
