Our Mission
Camp Menorah strives to provide our campers with a safe, nurturing Jewish camp experience and well-rounded, quality programs.  Our goal is to instill pride in Judaism through a dynamic combination of athletics, water sports, arts & crafts, field trips and enriching activities.  Campers will develop an understanding of what it means to be a part of a Jewish community, and learn about themselves as individuals.  By exposing our campers to the beauty of our Jewish heritage, we proved them with amazing memories that will strengthen their Jewish identity.

ACA Accredited!
Camp Menorah is proudly the only American Camp Association Accredited camp in the Beach Cities.  As a leading authority in youth development, ACA works to preserve, promote and improve the camp experience.  This accreditation guarantees excellence in our programming, safety, counselor quality, and more.

Camp Staff
Senior counselors are college age and above, with a unique aptitude for mentoring kids.  All staff members are required to complete a Counselor Training Program, including CPR and First Aid Certification.  Our Madrichim (junior counselors) are chosen for their enthusiasm, experience, skills, Judaic knowledge and caring attitude.  High Schoolers are eligible for community service hours if desired.  To apply please contact the Camp Director.

Safety & Transportation
Campers are assigned to groups according to age and grade.  Each group has a trained and reliable team of counselors responsible for their safety.  For identification purposes, camp t-shirts, free with registration, must be worn on all field trips.  Transportation for all field trips will be provided in buses equipped with seat belts and driven by trained, experienced and licensed bus drivers.

Hot Lunch & Food Guidelines
All of our campers can sign up for our Kosher Hot Lunch Program. Details and menus can be found in the registration packet posted on our website.  Absolutely NO PEANUTS are allowed at Camp Menorah.
