History & Humor: Honoring Wisconsin's First Political Women
About This Year's Event
The 28th Annual Gala will be honoring Wisconsin Women Making History, those who have achieved Political Firsts at the State Level, with entertainment provided by Milwaukee's ComedySportz! This year's event will take attendees back to WWIG's roots at the Edgewater Hotel. WWIG was started in 1987 by a group of women who regularly met on the pier at the Edgewater Hotel and were looking for ways to support and connect women working in government throughout the State. Since those sunny afternoons 28 years ago, WWIG has raised over $1,000,000 for scholarships and programs that celebrate and support the talented women who choose a career in government service. Come visit the newly renovated Edgewater Hotel and help WWIG continue its efforts! |
