From Selfies to Social Change - Join us for the Urban Exposure Project Exhibit

Photography has a unique and remarkable ability to tell stories, and images have never been more widely shared. The Urban Exposure Project is an annual program that harnesses the storytelling capacity of photography to help shed light on social issues affecting our city. Participants had the opportunity to learn technical photography skills and explore such topics as poverty, vulnerable youth and community building through the lens of their camera.

Join Gen Next and United Way on May 23 to celebrate the culmination of this year’s project at the Urban Exposure Project Exhibit.

The Urban Exposure Project Exhibit is a gallery-style event that will showcase the riveting images and stories captured on film by the participants as they uncovered truths and myths about social issues affecting Calgarians.

Sure to be a fun night out, filled with great art, food, drinks and people, it’s a not-to-be-missed spring event.

$25 includes entry, food and two drinks.
