Dr. McCabe joined Commonwealth Emergency Physicians in May, 2006 as an associate in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Inova Loudoun Hospital. She has been practicing Pediatric Emergency Medicine for the past 8 years. She is currently the Medical Director of the Inova Concussion Program, the Pediatric Emergency Department, the Pediatric Hospitalist Service and Pediatric Urgent Care at Inova Loudoun.
Since joining the medical staff at Inova Loudoun Hospital, Dr. McCabe has been the Vice Chair and Chair of Pediatrics, and is currently the Vice President of the Medical Staff. She serves on both the Inova Health System EPIC Physician Advisory Committee and the Emergency System-wide Services EPIC Committee. In addition, she is a course director for Inova Healthsource Pediatric Advanced Life Support and is a clinical instructor of Pediatrics at Georgetown Medical School.
Prior to joining Inova Loudoun Hospital Dr. McCabe was a Primary Care Pediatrician for 9 years. She graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 1994. She completed her residency training at the University of Pennsylvania, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 1997.
