Experience STEM with the Kano

Computer Kit Platform

STEM is an education initiative focused on improving technology competitiveness in fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Kano is a computer kit that is built on top of the Raspberry Pi platform. Kano allows for several experiences for younger students to understand such as command line, coding, creation of drawings and music in fun and engaging format. John has been teaching children about this platform at the Boys and Girls Club in Bloomington Il and will share these experiences.

John has been in the Information Technology field since 1995. He has a diverse background in development and hardware management. John is a current member and past President of Twin City AITP.
