LASA is pleased to announce the GRAND OPENING of our new Client Services Center!
On July 20th, LASA will celebrate the opening of LASA's Client Services Center & Prairie Oaks. The celebration will include a short dedication ceremony, ribbon cutting, open house and light snacks.
The Center provides new office and meeting space for LASA. It also will be home to LASA's case managers who provide services to families at scattered site housing throughout Pierce County.
Plans for growth at the Client Services Center include:
• Computer lab
• Space dedicated to visiting health care professionals in cooperation with MDC
• Shower and laundry
• Memorial garden
• Flag pole and sign
Prairie Oaks offers 15 units of low-income, permanent supportive housing for families experiencing homelessness. The beautiful units at Prairie Oaks feature landscaped grounds with a community garden and plans for a future play area. Families served by Prairie Oaks must have experienced homelessness and have a member of the family with a disability. Families are able to access supportive services in the Client Services Center. The focus on services is to help the family towards self sufficiency.
The event will include light snacks and refreshments. Come rain or shine!
