Halloween is Trick or Treat Time

Time once again for Rotary District 7490 and community organizations to “treat” those who are hungry in our area.

Rotary District 7490 (a local and international volunteer service organization) is sponsoring its second Food Drive – this time benefiting United Way of Hudson County's Food Pantry and Rotary District 7490's Military Family Assistance Centers and St. Peter's University's own Food Pantry..  At our last Halloween Against Hunger in Bergen County, we packaged 54,000 meals and collected. 1.1 tons of food. Tis year, we hope to package even more meals and collect more food. 

 I am sure if you knew someone was hungry, you would feed him/her. On October 24, just before Halowwen,  we are once again asking YOU to help a family, a friend and/or individual get a meal. We need help from all types of community organizations and even children as young as 5 can participate!

 Four Ways You Can Help

1. Donate to Outreach, Inc. so that we can purchase the ingredients for 100 meals – total cost – only $25.00 – that’s it!!! Or become a Sponsor! 
2. Help pack the meals – total time investment – only 2 hours – that’s it!!!
3. Ask all your friends, family, vendors, organizations and acquaintances to help  – if you cannot come, send someone! When 
4. Collect food for United Way of Hudson County, St. Peter's University's own Food Pantry  and Rotary District 7490's Military Family Assistance Centers  - we would like to collect a least a ton of food (1,000 lbs.)
