Several of the sites will be open for tours during the ride as well as afterward. The Studebaker Bendix Heritage Trail Bike Ride has two different routes; the Urban Ride, which is 11.4 miles long with nine stops, as well as the Full Ride, which is 38 miles long with ten stops. Riders can enjoy the trail on their own or with groups that will leave between 8am-9am.
On site registration will take place Curtis Products Inc. at 401 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN 46628 and Bendix Woods County Park at 32132 State Road 2, New Carlisle, IN 46552. All riders are required to sign a waiver at the registration table before the start of the ride.
The Studebaker Bendix Heritage Trail Bike Ride is a FREE event! Bike Michiana Coalition is asking for a $10 donation the day of the ride. All donations go towards purchasing helmets for Bicycle Safety Classes for local 3rd grade students. The amount of Bicycle Safety Classes offered depends on donations that allow Bike Michiana Coalition to purchase helmets for the classes.
