PM 101: Probability Management, a cure for the Flaw of Averages
Dr. Sam Savage
The Flaw of Averages states that plans based on average assumptions are wrong on average. The discipline of probability management cures this problem by making it easy to perform calculations based on uncertainty in your native spreadsheet. Examples will be drawn from scheduling, supply chain and finance.
PM 102: How to Build SIPmath Simulations in Excel
Dr. Sam Savage
A tutorial on using the free SIPmath Modeler Tools to create interactive simulations in native Excel based on the Data Table. Importing SIP Libraries from @RISK, Crystal Ball and XLSim is also covered.
PM 103: Probability Management Applications
Dr. Sam Savage
Large scale applications of probability management have been created within energy, pharmaceutical, defense and finance industries. This webinar will provide tricks and tips for creating your own applications. Attendees are encouraged to send in sample problems in advance for Dr. Savage to explore during the class.
PM 104: The SIPmath Standard
Marc Thibault
An open discussion about the SIPmath standard with creators Sam Savage and Marc Thibault. Learn more and have questions answered in an informal setting.
Each webinar qualifies for 1 hour of CAP PDU credit.
