Karamu, one of the Childcare Industry's most respected and trusted non-profit institutions, is proud to announce our 2nd Annual Tennessee Childcare Conference on Saturday, August 22nd in Memphis, Tennessee. We invite you to come join us as we Celebrate, Empower, and Embrace YOU - the Childcare and Education Professional. The day will be filled with informational and inspirational lectures, presentations, training, and discussions - all of which are intended to recognize and promote the many positive aspects of childcare and the childcare community. You will also be able to earn up to 7 training credit towards your annual professional development requirements. In the spirit of our theme, throughout the day we will pause to recognize the positive achievements and successes of individual childcare providers and staff; so when you register be sure to tell us about any personal or professional milestones you're celebrating. And as always, the conference is FREE to all attendees

Special Events During The Conference - Just like our previous conference, this dynamic and fun filled day will be all about the personal and professional growth of childcare providers and the childcare industry. This year we will also feature a special limited seating catered luncheon that attendees can pay a small fee to attend. If you would like to attend, the cost is only $17.95 for the four course lunch; you may purchase your ticket when you register for the conference.

*Note: Admission is free for all conference attendees and includes access to all of the conference lectures and workshops. There is a charge for the special limited seating lunchtime awards banquet. If you like to attend the special event, you may purchase a ticket for $17.95 when you register. CPR and First Aid training is also available for $55.00 and you can also purchase a ticket when you register for the conference. There is a fee for parking at the Fogelman Conference Center's parking garage of $2.00 per hour with a maximum of $12.00. Conference attendees are required to pay for their own parking. On street parking is also available free of charge in the surrounding area. Karamu is not responsible for any damage to vehicles or theft of property.
